Left 4 Dead Pre-Order

I pre-ordered Left 4 Dead so I can get the demo a few days early even though I have over a thousand pages of reading and/or critiquing to do before next Friday. Where has the responsible adult that I was once told I would grow into gone?

I had no clue why anyone was excited about this game other than Valve’s name, and even after reading some previews I was still wondering why everyone was so hyped.

But then I saw it in action. Wow, this game looks fun. Take a look:

I loved the movie 28 Days Later despite not being a huge horror fan, because the depiction of zombies was so frightening. They aren’t allowed to be fast!

I’m not even a huge fan of multi-player games, but the opportunity to fight cooperatively with three other people against never ending hordes of quicksilver zombies is just too good to pass up. Hopefully I can tear myself away from it long enough to get some schoolwork done.
